Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the two materials, and which one is more lifelike?

We offer two materials: resin (3D-printed) and soft clay (handmade).

3D-printed figurines are digitally modeled from your photos, then printed in full color and finished by hand. Clay figurines are sculpted entirely by hand — no molds — in their soft clay color, then baked at high temperature to set.

3D printing generally achieves higher likeness, especially when you provide photos from multiple angles — the more we see, the more precise the model. Clay figurines, while slightly less photorealistic, have a distinct charm and playful character that many people love.

Does it need special care? Will it last permanently?

Yes, both resin and soft clay are durable, long-lasting materials — your keepsake can be preserved for years to come with just a few simple precautions:

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Both materials are UV-sensitive. Long-term sun exposure can cause colors to fade and the material to yellow or age. Display your keepsake indoors at normal room temperature, away from windowsills or direct sun.

Handle with care — don't drop it. Resin is rigid and can crack or break on impact; clay figurines can chip at thin parts. Always hold the piece by its base, and place it on a stable surface away from edges.

3D-printed figurines (resin): If the face gets dusty or dirty, gently wipe it with an alcohol wipe. Do not rinse directly with water.

Clay figurines (soft clay): Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, the piece can be rinsed with water — just avoid alcohol, solvents, or chemical cleaners, as these can damage the clay surface.

Can you ship directly to the gift recipient?

Yes. We can ship your order directly to the person you're gifting. Each keepsake arrives in a gift-ready box, and if you'd like, we can also include a greeting card — just let us know when placing your order.

How many rounds of revisions do I get?

3D-printed figurines: Two free rounds of revisions are included. After that, if any previously requested adjustments haven't been resolved yet, we'll keep working on those until they're right. To keep things efficient, we recommend consolidating your feedback into one set of notes per round.

Clay figurines: Unlimited revisions until you're completely satisfied. Again, we recommend gathering your notes and sending them together each round for a smoother process.

How long does it take?

The timelines below are for pieces with up to 2 subjects. As the number of subjects increases, production may take slightly longer.

3D-printed figurines:

  • Digital model preview: within 3 days
  • Revisions after your feedback: up to 2 days
  • Printing after final approval: 3–5 days
  • Shipping: calculated separately at checkout

Clay figurines:

How many subjects can be included in one piece?

There's no limit — you can include as many people and pets as you'd like. You can provide photos of different subjects taken separately, and we'll bring them together into a single piece.

Can you change outfits or poses from the original photo?

Yes. Use the creative notes to tell us what to keep and what to change — the pose, outfits, or expression. You'll confirm everything in the preview before we proceed.
